作者のことば

"Fruit of the Mysterious Tree" consists of the two chapters of Earth and Space-Time.
"Earth"'s theme is seasons and "Space-Time"'s theme is time, so we made the story and characters with that as the theme, but what we wanted to have on the underside of both was "drawing without being shy about love". That was our one objective.
We'll be so happy if you take in the casual love towards Link from those around him (from the chicks too).
This time we've also compiled the "Chapter of Earth" from Shougaku Ninensei Ban that we couldn't put in the volume during serialization.
Please enjoy it!
「ふしぎの木の実」は大地・時空の２章で構成されています。
「大地」のテーマは季節、「時空」のテーマは時間なので、それをテーマにストーリーとキャラクターを作りましたが、両方とも底の方に流しておきたいと思ったのは"ＬＯＶＥを照れずに描く"ことがひとつの目標でした。
リンクの周りにいる人々（ヒヨコも）の彼へのさりげない愛情を感じ取って頂けたら幸いです。
連載当時のもので単行本に入ってなかった小学二年生版の「大地の章」も今回発収録です。
